Crystal Kirgiss

Crystal (PhD, Purdue Univ) has worked with adolescents from 6th-grade through college-age for over 30 years. She’s written many books and articles about a variety of topics from music to Jesus to C. S. Lewis to the middle ages. She’s also been a core writer for many Bible editions, including the recent *The Way* (NLT – Tyndale). She thinks, writes, speaks, and engages with both teens and adults about faith, following Jesus, the Bible, literature, the history of adolescence, and more. For 14 years, she taught writing, literature, and The Bible as Literature at Purdue University. She currently serves as the Vice President of Discipleship for Young Life. She’s married to Mark, a veteran youth worker.
