Beth Slevcove

Beth Slevcove is a hospice chaplain, spiritual director, writer, mother, surfer and retreat leader who loves good books, good waves, good playgrounds and traveling old highways with her family in their VW camper van. She served as the director of spiritual formation for Youth Specialties and holds advanced degrees in theology and education. Her book, Broken Hallelujahs: Learning to Grieve the Big and Small Losses of Life, was released through InterVarsity Press. Beth is deeply rooted in her urban, Lutheran congregation and is an oblate at a Benedictine monastery. She lives with her husband, two kids and dozens of Tijuana Surf Monkeys from a surf company she runs.
